Terms of Service
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and IN THE HOUSE LLC, an Arizona company doing business as IN THE HOUSE ("IN THE HOUSE," "we," "us"). They cover our website, our app at app.inthehouseapp.com and everything we offer through them (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who can use IN THE HOUSE
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You're responsible for your account, for keeping your login private and for what happens under it. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
2. What we do
IN THE HOUSE lists local businesses that we review against the same standards, shows member offers from those businesses, and runs a rewards program for members. We are not the business you buy from. Each business is responsible for its own products, services, prices, hours, licensing and the way it honors its offer.
3. Member offers
- Offers come from the business. Each business sets its offer and any minimum spend or conditions shown in the app.
- To use an offer, open the business in the app, tap Reveal My Code and show the one-time code at the business. Codes are personal, can't be transferred or sold, and may expire.
- Offers have no cash value and can't be combined with other offers unless the business says so. A business may change or end its offer; we'll show the current offer in the app.
4. Free accounts and membership
- Anyone can browse listed businesses without an account. A free account lets you use member offers. If a free account redeems at a participating business, the punch is saved (banked); if you become a member within 60 days of that punch, it counts toward your card.
- Membership costs $9.99 per month and adds punch cards and rewards. It renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account; your membership stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. Payments already made aren't refunded except where the law requires.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We don't store your full card number.
- If we change the price, we'll tell you in advance, and the new price applies from your next billing period.
5. Rewards
- Members earn a punch for each qualifying redemption at a participating business. A qualifying redemption is a code redeemed at that business that meets its minimum spend. When a card is full, the member can choose one reward.
- Rewards are savings certificates and incentive prizes with terms, provided by IN THE HOUSE through a third-party reward partner. The business doesn't pay for them.
- Rewards have their own terms, set by the reward partner. Some require an activation fee, a shipping & handling fee, or (for getaway prizes) a redemption fee + taxes and fees, paid by the member. Any fee is shown before you choose. We send your reward as a single-use claim link by email; claim it by the date shown, because unclaimed links expire. Availability, household limits and expiration dates apply.
- Rewards have no cash value, can't be sold or transferred, and are for personal use. Reward options depend on the business's plan and may change.
- We may cancel punches or rewards earned through fraud, fake redemptions, multiple accounts or misuse.
6. Businesses
- Businesses apply to be listed. We review every application against written criteria and may approve or decline it, applying the same standards to everyone.
- Business plans (Tier 1 $49, Tier 2 $129, Tier 3 $249 per month) include a 30-day free trial. A card is required at checkout; the first charge happens when the trial ends unless the business cancels before then. Plans renew monthly until canceled in the billing portal.
- Businesses agree to honor their posted offer for members with a valid code, to keep their listing accurate, to keep their member offer exclusive to IN THE HOUSE, and to follow all laws that apply to them.
- Business referral credit: a listed business that refers another business earns a one-time bill credit of $25, $50 or $100 (by the referred business's plan) after the referred business's first paid invoice.
7. Ambassador program
- Anyone 18 or older can apply. Approval is required, and approved ambassadors sign a separate ambassador agreement, which controls if it conflicts with this section.
- Current rates: for a referred business, 25% (Standard) or 30% (Elite) of its monthly fee, or for City Captains a rate set in that ambassador's written agreement, for its first 12 paid months, plus a one-time bonus of $25, $50 or $100 by its plan. For a referred member, $2 per month for that member's first 12 paid months. Elite is reached by inviting 25 paying members; City Captain is by invitation.
- Commissions are earned only on payments we actually receive, are paid monthly once a payment has cleared 30 days, and may be reversed if the payment is refunded or charged back. Self-referrals and referrals of your own business or household don't qualify.
- A tax form (W-9) is required before any payout. Ambassadors are independent, not employees.
- Ambassadors must clearly disclose that they're paid when they promote IN THE HOUSE.
- We may change rates for future referrals with notice. Money you've already earned isn't affected.
8. Using the Service fairly
Don't misuse the Service. For example, don't create fake accounts or redemptions, share or sell codes, scrape or copy the Service, interfere with its security, post anything unlawful or misleading, or impersonate anyone. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
9. Content and our brand
The IN THE HOUSE name, logo, app and website are ours. Businesses give us permission to display the photos, text and logos they provide in the Service and in our marketing of their listing.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." We review businesses before listing them, but we don't guarantee any business's products, services or availability, or that the Service will always be available or error-free. Your dealings with a business are between you and that business.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, IN THE HOUSE isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).
12. Changes and ending
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
